Renewing of the Mind

RENEWING OF THE MIND

Paul wrote to the Romans, “be not conformed to THIS world but be transformed by the renewing of the mind so that you can prove the perfect will of God for your life.” He also warned the Corinthians about casting down imaginations and thoughts  that could exalt themselves ABOVE the knowledge of God. Paul implied that  all thoughts could be “captured” and brought into obedience to the will of God. We know the general will of God from His word.  However, it is the Holy Ghost Who provides the direction of our individual lives   once our minds have been renewed.

Therefore, a renewed mind precedes knowing what God’s will for US is.

So I suggest to you that discovering the will of God for your life involves a renewal. There are some key points that I would like to underscore:

  • We are what we THINK we are. Our thoughts have power to draw both evil and godly energy.  If we have practiced negative self talk, in the same manner, we should consciously practice godly self talk.  Godly thought will bring about godly talk. Godly talk will bring forth the fruits of victory in casting down evil thoughts.
  • A part of renewing the soul is to learn how to deal with what is uncomfortable. Walking on the sands of  a beautiful  beach on a hot sunny day has its comforts and delights.  However,if  the sand is very “hot,”  it is difficult to walk on it.  Struggles and failures supply the necessary preparation to learn how to “walk on hot sand.”.
  • Where deliverance from demonic oppression is concerned, torment can be a blessing.  Torment wipes out the delusion that “all is well” and knocks off the rose-colored glasses. The tormented one is pressured to search for answers and solutions–something that he would not have even considered if he had not desperately sought release from the torment.
  • Anyone who makes decisions either by the influence of an unrenewed mind or emotions is usually weak in his or her will. The will is the organ that examines, distinguishes, judges and makes decisions based upon the information received from the mind and the emotions.
  • Choices can often be long-lasting and unchangeable. We can make the choice but we cannot choose the outcome or the repercussion. In other words, we can choose to sin but we cannot choose the wages of that sin.
  • One of the fallacies is that we assume that we have time to change.  When physical death appears to be “far off,” our will power tends to procrastinate and take chances.  However, when death is a daily reality, we learn to live and make choices that prolong our days.

Once we discover what we need to learn about our own inner struggles, there are other people who will need our testimony and our influence so that that too can be victorious.  A major purpose of struggling is that we can become consolers of those who are struggling in those areas where we have become triumphant.  By planting new seeds of power into our minds, old patterns and habits will be destroyed by the resurrection power of the Holy Ghost.  In a symbolic  context, the seeds are as Jesus said. They are the words of  fruitbearing power.

There is a trained minister with a testimony of “How I Walked on Hot Sand,” waiting to mentor YOU

At Sheppard’s Counseling Center, ministers are trained in a unique deliverance mentoring  program called SEW, Spiritual Empowerment Workshop.The principles of the SEW Program are presented in the book “Recovery In Christ.”  These are ministers who have overcome torment, walked on hot sand, and survived.  From domestic violence, to rape, to incest, to alcoholism,  to parents and grandparents who were practicing witchcraft, these men and women are overcomers. They have a testimony that you need. Come Join the Facebook Group Called SEW

SEW I deals with examining false doctrine. Our coordinator, Minister Lourdes does research to find the most reputable videos.

SEW stands for Spiritual Empowerment Workshop.  The SEW Program takes the major truths and tenets in my 6 books and lays out a unique set of steps to deliverance, recovery, and spiritual growth by comparing spiritual development to the natural growth of fruit and weeds in a field or in the ground. Recorded in Matthew 13, Jesus likened the human spirit as “good ground” when it produces spiritual fruit.

The problem today is that there is very little “good ground.” Too  many seeds of deception have been planted into it by organized religion. Deception planted into wayside, thorny and stony ground has produced false conversions by the millions, perhaps more. The field is your spirit and your soul–the ground. According to Hebrews 12:4, the soul and the spirit is divided by the word of God. SEW focuses on dividing soul from spirit so that spiritual empowerment is possible.

Since demons and religious devils have been periodically planting lies and half-truths, the task of the SEW Program is to un-deceive by examining false doctrines and practices and replacing them with truth. SEW trains its ministers and its trainees to turn over the ground of their souls, weed out their character defects by the power of the cross, and re-plant the ground with the truth. For as the Lord said, once truth is known and received, truth itself is the ultimate deliverer. SEW participants learn how to counsel themselves, toward the end of setting other captives free.

SEW was conceived and became operational in 1995, but SEW has evolved into an endtime goal: the birthing of endtime ministers.  To be an endtime minister does not require that one be a bible scholar or to stand behind a pulpit. My goal is to build confidence in each SEW participant that he or she has the ability ro understand scripture. Our minister’s lives are not characterized by defeat, backsliding and discontent. I welcome those who know that they are imperfect, but who desire to learn how to walk moment by moment in complete dependence on and trust in the Holy Spirit.

Specifically:

  • if you are ready to come to terms with your inadequacies, fears and failures;
  • if you are discontent as a Christian with just surviving;
  • if you are not too proud to admit to being deceived;
  • if you have left or if you are considering leaving the organized church system;
  • if you are willing to try the spirits to see if they be of God

Then we at SEW are looking for YOU!

My training approach fosters independent thinking. Dedicated to truth, I live what I preach.I am non-judgmental, yet I judge or examine all things that are spiritual or supernatural. For 34 years, I have walked by faith. Those who allow me to train them grow rapidly. I equip and challenge SEW ministers and mentees to do the work of the ministry of Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit. My goal is for each SEW member to be a worker for the Lord and to find their place in His Body. Among my SEW trained ministers are ordinary people who have overcome some extraordinary struggles and challenges. They are trained to lead others to walk through similar situations that they have already overcome.  In SEW, they have learned how to do the Lord’s work HIS way.

We have a SEW private group on Facebook called SEW I. If you are interested in joining, send me a private message at www.facebook.com/pamela.sheppard911

If You Are Saved, You Must Come Out of The Church System

10/25/11 Thirty Years a Minister!

I started out for 33 years of life an atheist.  Once I had a ‘Damascus Road” type of experience with the Lord, I was sold out for Him.  And it was two years—1979–before I attended any church.  I went because I had 3 consecutive dreams of a local pastor, and all 3 dreams urged me to find this man, the late Rev. Lester.  (not his real name.) Not once in more than 25 years did I ever consider that it was NOT God who sent me those dreams.  I didn’t find out until AFTER I had finished my 4th book, “the Fake Jesus:Fallen Angels Among Us.”  How did I find out?  The Lord spoke to me and  quietly  said, “I did not send you those 3 dreams that sent you to that church.”  Simple.

Why did He wait so long to tell me this?  Well, I never asked Him.  I kinda “knew” without asking.  I needed to know the depth of perversion and depravity the organized church system actually is “from inside.”  You might say, “I was a spy.” I was never really a part of the system because the demons in it recognized that I was a spy before I actually knew it myself.  The Lord allowed a messenger of Satan to give me 3 dreams and several confirming signs that I was supposed to be there.  I was a church person for 25 years, in ministry about two years after I  first arrived.  I was in a denomination where several churches in a region are “connected.”  So I got to know about 100 ministers, about 10 percent of them as close regional associates.

Well, I knew it was depraved from the beginning.  My first pastor was a closet homosexual who also practiced a Caribbean form of witchcraft called “obeah.” He was one of the first to die of AIDS in the early 80’s.  Most of the ministerial elders that I had to submit my ministry to were depraved.  Thieves, drug abusers, fornicators, homosexuals, child abusers, you name it, undercover and sometimes openly, they did it.

I stayed as long as I did because the religious demon assigned to me played  a convincing game to prove that  God had me in the system to cause the system to repent.  So I was on my knees, sobbing, wailing and travailing for 25 years.  When things only got worst, commonsense should have told me, “Hey Pam, Don’t you “get it?” God is not answering your prayers in this matter. Why can’t you ‘figure it out?’ If God has not answered your prayers for repentance for 25 years, perhaps it is because “the time of repentance is over.  It just ain’t goin to happen, Gurl!!! Get up off your knees!”

I was pretty comfortable in the denomination in 2003.  I had started my own church and I kept my self separated from the religious politics, and the Bishop did not particularly care WHAT I was doing.  He treated me like I didn’t exist, and that worked well for me.  Then one day, the Lord spoke to me in a dream.  He showed me that “it was time to go.” He said “but let them PUT you out.”  Since I was not in any kind of trouble with the upper echelon, it seemed implausible that they would put me out.  Well 9 months from the dream, my name was removed from the denominations rolls.

Once out, I devoted myself to my online ministry which had begun in 2002 and to the church that I had founded in 1996. From 2004-2007, I waited for the Lord to send me to a different denomination, with my eyes on Full Gospel, non denominational groups.  It didn’t happen.  Then in 2007,  the Holy Ghost spoke again.  He compared the organized church to an inner city condemned building.  In short, He said “I’ve judged it already and I am no longer there.”

I said to myself “this COULD be the devil. It was too incredulous for me to believe that the Holy Ghost was not in the church.  I was in a state of shock.   So I tried the spirits through the study of church history for one year.  After that year, I knew I had heard from the Holy Ghost.  He is NOT there.

Since God is not there, no point in ME being there either!

The details of my  story are in the book, “Come Out of Her, God’s People.”  It is an eye opener that should be a part of your library. It is an “ah ha” kind of book.  It explains a lot about the organized church, its ministers and its members as well as “it plagues.” Also if you want to discuss this, your comments are welcome.  If you already know I speak the truth, you are invited to enter into deliverance mentoring where you will be assigned a trained minister to be in touch with 24/7. Someone who will be much better for you than even an AA or an NA sponsor because this minister is trained in deliverance and in counseling. To receive a mentor, call 518-477-5759.

Delivered from Addictions and Finally Free: Part 1 By Minister Micael

Minister Micael

Dear reader, this is the story of my deliverance experience. I was constantly depressed before the year 2000. It got worst in junior high. And even more of a problem when I started drinking during the second half of high school. Then I fell into zombie mode, by way of drinking vodka most days, for the period of a year. I had the demon of death on me. I was in so much torment that I wanted to embrace death.
Some school days I’d stagger home, then pass out for the rest of the day. I would be worn out. Not able to address life, or be sober enough to see what was in front of me. After I came down from the effects of regular usage, I could hardly make it through the sober days. I could hardly cope, because of overwhelming anxiety and depression.
While I was liquored- up, I’d read a meditation book which the authors claimed to be inspired by angels. In addition, I would alternate my reading with a new-age occult book called the Ennegram. I was attempting to learn and understand myself into salvation. The reading material promoted the belief of mine that if I could only ” not be ignorant ” and ” know enough ” about my personality I could save myself from self-destruction; a belief in Gnosticism.
One day, after many years, having lessened my alcohol use, I witnessed a family member pass away as I stared at them. It was slightly traumatic…
A month later I admited I could not continue going on the same way and I knew I needed God’s help. I merely kept this stance in mind in December of 2009. While I was wandering around Youtube in mid 2010, I came across a well known Christian channel, and began to watch it regularly. Months went by, and I started seeking Jesus. A seed had been planted and started to grow…
My story of deliverance and true salvation will continue in my next article. Until then know this: if the Son has truly made you free you shall be free indeed! (John 8:36)
If you need deliverance, and are experiencing affliction of any kind, please call Sheppard’s Counseling Center now! Pam Sheppard, a true woman of God counseled me into true salvation. God is not a respecter of persons, he will do for you what he did for me. I look forward to meeting you again in Part 2….
To be continued…
